Roll cage number L242. 6 point bolt-in full external roll cage (as per L172, but without internal components).

Please note that models between 1983 – 1988 had three raised ribs on the roof approx 22mm (7/8″) tall. This kind of roof does not work with our external roll cages as the hoops will clash with them.  Nor will it fit if the rear seat box is stepped in the rear corner.

Compatible with Safety Devices ‘Explorer’ Roof Racks for roll cage mount.

Compatible with Safety Devices L052 ladder.

  •   Finished roll cage provided with black powdercoat paint finish unless specified otherwise. Other colours available: grey, blue, silver, white and red. There is a surcharge for colours other than black.
  •   Roll cage can be provided unpainted by special request (no reduction in price).
